I'm not much of a DIY-er and so I was a little worried about how this would go, but since I didn't have a specific vision of exactly what I wanted the flowers to look like, I figured I would be okay.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eWhile I personally enjoyed being able to have full say in what the flowers looked like (I wanted a small bouquet that had a nice pop of color to complement the bridesmaid dresses), I think I caused a little stress on my family who helped me put the arrangements together. Primarily because they ended up being more of a perfectionist than I was! If you're a huge perfectionist, based on my family's reactions to this task, I would not recommend assembling everything yourself! That being said, all in all, it only took a few hours for us to wrap bouquets and make the boutonnieres for the groomsmen and since I was the most laid back of the group, it went well for us. We had PLENTY of flowers leftover and put them to good use in our centerpieces. I also used some baby's breath in my hair. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe flowers were on their last edge the day of the wedding. Particularly the sunflowers were struggling and we had to pick and choose which ones to use for our arrangements. The dianthus ended up being my favorite much to my surprise.
