Dustin and his dad created the table numbers from old barn wood. My mom, sister, and I gathered candle holders, vases, and other decor for many months. My mom, mother-in-law, and aunt made all of our desserts. The table where we shared our first meal as husband and wife was the table we would go on to use at our first home together. The fabric draping over our ceremony arch had been used at both of my grandparents' 50th anniversary parties. All of our decor was sentimental and very personal to us. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eWhen our flowers arrived on Wednesday and Thursday before our wedding, Dustin and I helped my mom unwrap and prep them. This part took many hours and lots of space. We used around 7 or 8 five gallon buckets and a few smaller ones to hold everything, then stored them in my parents' bathroom with an indirect fan on low to keep them cool. The whole house smelled heavenly! My mom arranged the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages on Friday. We transported the other flowers to our venue in the buckets, then everything was put in vases Saturday morning\/afternoon before the wedding. Our photographer and many of our guests could not believe my mom (who is not a florist) did our flowers.
