1. Clean the container that your intend to keep your flowers in
2. Fill with about 4 inches of fresh, cold, water
3. Obtain your newest delivery of carnation flowers in bulk
4. Remove any plastic, foam, or rubber bands that are on the blooms
5. Remove any foliage that touches or is under the waterline; if foliage is touching the water line, this can shorten the life of your flower.
6. Using a diagonal cut, remove about an inch off of the bottom of the stem
7. Immediately place into your prepared water
8. Rehydrate your blooms for at least 4 hours, it can take up to 12 to be fully hydrated
9. Ensure the water level remains at about 4 inches throughout the rehydration process
10. Enjoy your new flowers!
