Our wedding was a small, masked affair punctuated by DIY touches held on New Year's Day. We were able to celebrate in a small ceremony with our loved ones in a renovated historic courthouse where social distancing and safety were dressed up with old world grandeur. Our garnet and navy color scheme was accented with copper and gold. We were fortunate to have an amazing space dripping in crystal chandeliers and wrapped in turn-of-the-century wood work.
Our soft, plush garden roses and peonies were contrasted with thistle and textured greens to give us the enchanted English Garden captured in a ballroom look we wanted. I couldn't image a prettier day. It was a bright and beautiful way to start our new year and our new lives together.
